Network allows corporate grantmakers to learn, network, and collaborate
The Community Foundation of Huntsville/Madison County held the inaugural meeting of the Corporate Giving Network (CGN) today, which was hosted by Redstone Federal Credit Union. The meeting was attended by 15 corporate giving and/or community relations officers from 12 local companies, including: ADTRAN, Inc., A-P-T Research, Inc., Crestwood Medical Center, Intrepid, Inc., Lockheed Martin, Modern Technology Solutions, Inc., nLogic, Redstone Federal Credit Union, Simulation Technologies, Inc., Torch Technologies, Inc., Trideum Corporation, Troy 7, Inc., and Venturi, Inc., as well as the Community Foundation who organized the network and the event.

In December 2015, The Wings of Faith Foundation was selected to receive a $4,000 charitable grant and The Liberty Learning Foundation and AGAPE of North Alabama were each selected to receive a $3,000 charitable grant.
